My First Perspective of the language

From a very young age, the magical world of Harry Potter entered my life, sparking a deep curiosity for a language that would become essential for my future. English has not only been a key tool in my academic journey and professional aspirations, but it has also transformed my life in countless ways. It has opened doors to opportunities I never imagined and created bridges of communication that have enriched my personal and professional relationships. This journey, inspired by the stories I loved as a child, has shown me the power of language to connect, learn, and grow.

Importance of English in my life and my career.

Learning English has been a significant part of my life since I started studying it at the age of 10. Now, almost 20 years later, I can see how much it has shaped my journey, both personally and professionally. As a student of accounting and finance, English is not just a skill but a vital tool that opens doors to global opportunities, helps me understand international markets, and allows me to connect with people from different cultures.

The journey of learning English has been exciting and full of challenges, but it has also been incredibly rewarding. It has given me access to resources, knowledge, and experiences that have enriched my education and made me more confident in pursuing my career goals. Even now, I continue to improve, knowing that English will always be a key to growth and success in my life.

My experience in learning English.

Learning English has been one of the most enjoyable experiences of my life. It all started with curiosity and a desire to understand the magical world I loved so much as a child. My dream was to one day meet the actors from the stories that captivated me, and I wanted to be ready to communicate with them. That dream became my motivation, and it made learning English feel less like a task and more like an exciting adventure.

I’ve always had fun with the process, whether it was through watching movies, reading books, or practicing conversations. Each step brought me closer to a language that opened up a world of possibilities. Over time, English became not just a skill but a source of joy and connection, something I’ve truly enjoyed every moment of.

Even today, I continue learning with the same sense of curiosity and excitement, knowing that English has enriched my life in ways I never imagined.

My Feelings Towards Learning English

In the beginning, learning English was quite a challenge, but I always approached it with love and excitement. For me, it was a way to feel closer to the magical world that filled my heart with wonder. Even though unicorns, phoenixes, and magic weren’t real, they felt real to me, and that belief kept me motivated.

Learning English became more than just a skill, it was a journey of discovery. I always wanted to learn more, feel more, and explore more. Each word I learned brought me closer to the stories I cherished and the dreams I held close.

Even now, I carry that same sense of wonder and curiosity. English has not only connected me to the things I love but has also given me the courage to dream bigger and reach further. It’s a language that has grown with me, filling my life with joy and endless possibilities.

What and How I Hope to Improve My Level This Quarter

One of my biggest challenges in learning English has always been my writing. Since I learned English in such a self-taught and informal way, I’ve developed a strong vocabulary and can communicate well when speaking, but my writing often contains errors. This has always been a bit of a limitation for me compared to how confidently I can express myself verbally.

This quarter, I want to focus on improving my writing skills. I hope to learn how to structure my ideas better, refine my grammar, and reduce mistakes that hold me back. To achieve this, I plan to practice more consistently by writing essays, journaling, and getting feedback from others. I also want to dedicate time to learning the rules of grammar that I may have missed during my earlier learning journey.

By improving my writing, I’ll feel more confident in expressing myself fully, whether it’s in professional settings or personal communication. I’m excited to work on this area and continue growing as an English learner.
